Home Improvement Projects, Managed With Greater Confidence
Gauteng House & Garden brings planning, specialist skills and accountable project coordination together – giving homeowners and property managers one trusted partner from the first enquiry to project completion.
Clear written scopes. Selected trade specialists. One point of contact.
Who We Are
One Project Partner.
The Right Specialist
for Every Trade.
We are a Gauteng-based home-improvement and residential project-management company.
We help homeowners, landlords, body corporates, property managers and businesses plan and complete renovations, repairs, installations and property improvements with greater clarity and less uncertainty.
Our role is to understand what you need, define the work properly, appoint our appropriate specialist/service partner and coordinate the project from quotation to close-out.
We do not expect one general contractor to be an expert in every trade. Instead, we bring together selected businesses that specialise in their respective fields… from solar, electrical and waterproofing to carports, log cabins, painting, plumbing and outdoor improvements.
This gives every project access to the right skills while Gauteng House & Garden remains your central point of contact.
Why We Exist
Your Home Is
Too Valuable
for Guesswork
Many of us have experienced the frustration of unreliable contractors, unclear quotations and poor workmanship.
The contractor arrives late—or not at all. The price changes halfway through the job. Materials are substituted without explanation. Work is left unfinished, and when a problem appears, nobody wants to accept responsibility.
Gauteng House & Garden was created to offer homeowners a more structured and transparent way to manage property projects.
No home project is completely free from unexpected challenges. However, clients should always know:
- Who is responsible for the work
- What is included in the quotation
- What is excluded
- Which materials or systems will be used
- When the work is expected to start and finish
- How changes and additional costs will be approved
- Who to contact if a concern arises
Our purpose is to reduce uncertainty, improve communication and give clients greater peace of mind throughout the project.

About Our
Service Partners
GHG coordinates projects through selected independent specialist service partners.
These companies may arrive at your property in their own branded vehicles and uniforms. This is not a hidden handover or an unexpected referral. They are the technical specialists assigned to your Gauteng House & Garden-managed project.
Before work begins, your written quotation will clearly explain:
-
-
-
- The agreed scope of work
- The specialist service partner assigned to the project
- Project pricing and payment terms
- Important inclusions and exclusions
- Expected timelines
- Applicable workmanship or product warranties

GHG coordinates communication, scheduling, agreed project changes, progress and project close-out. We remain available when delays, concerns or workmanship issues need to be addressed within the agreed scope and warranty terms.
You know who is working at your property, why they were selected and who is coordinating the project.
What We Do
From the First Conversation to the Final Check
Home-improvement projects involve more than finding someone who can perform the work.
Successful delivery requires a clear scope, realistic pricing, suitable materials, reliable specialists, coordinated scheduling and proper communication.
Gauteng House & Garden brings these elements together through a simple, managed process.
1. We Assess and Define
We begin by understanding the problem, improvement or project you are considering.
Depending on the service, we may request photographs, measurements, electricity bills, plans or other supporting information before arranging a site assessment.
This helps us define what needs to be done before prices and promises are made.
2. We Plan and Price
We work with the appropriate specialist to determine the recommended solution, materials, project requirements and expected timeframe.
You receive a clear written quotation that explains the scope, inclusions, exclusions and payment terms.
Where different options are available, we help you understand the practical differences so that you can make an informed decision.
3. We Coordinate Delivery
Once the quotation is accepted, Gauteng House & Garden coordinates the specialist team, scheduling and project communication.
We help keep the client and service partner aligned on the agreed work, timing and expectations.
If unexpected conditions or additional work arise, these are communicated and approved before proceeding wherever reasonably possible. No nasty surprise waiting at the finish line.
4. We Monitor Progress
We remain involved throughout the project to monitor communication, progress and agreed deliverables.
Our aim is to identify concerns early, keep the project moving and prevent small misunderstandings from becoming expensive problems.
5. We Inspect and Close Out
At completion, the work is reviewed against the agreed project scope.
Any outstanding items are recorded and coordinated before project close-out. Applicable warranties, compliance documents or handover information are confirmed according to the type of work completed.
